BEARDS AND MUSTACHES

I have always had a secret/very obvious obsession for the classic beard and mustaches

Since birth I have been surrounded by beards being that my father had a full on ridiculous one since my birth until the age of 11. I enjoy a southern gentleman soley just for the fact that they normally come with not only a gentle personality but long hair with an adorable matching long beard/mustache combination. Most of my favorite musicians also have beards as well ie:

I was fortunate enough to discover the website www.beards.com. There you can learn how to grow and groom one, read success stories, view many the different styles, get your very important questions about beards answered, and entertain yourself for a mere 15 minutes maybe. Sean M. Johnson is a featured member on this site who graduated from the Museum of Fine Arts in Boston who's major inspiration for his work is photographic documentation of beards and beard growth including his own. Photos from this project can be viewed at: http://www.flickr.com/photos/beardgrow/. Definatly one of my most favorite ideas yet to date. This website offers a look into the actual WORLD O' BEARDS by showing the different styles, shapes, and colours of the world. Featuring beards of Africa, Asia, Austrailia, Europe, North and South America.

If you are unfortunate and cannot grow one of these highly attractive assets, here are some alternative options

Inspired

I have been lurking a friend Jenny Dames' blog (privilegedlifestyle.blogspot.com) for a bit which has inspired me to make this blog for my inspirations.

I am currently learning the trade of hairstyling and vision crafting at the Aveda Institute of Toronto. I am entirely obsessed with hair, classic literature, as well as fashion, interior design, and recently skateboarding. I'll be posting things I find inspiriing on this blog hopefully daily. Maybe you will enjoy, maybe you wont.

Lately somethings I've been feeling:
Recently I've had this urge to buy this bust of Albert Einstein and paint Gene Simmons alter 'KISS' ego over his face.

Really into these for skateboarding, they now even came out with a SECOND edition...I've got to get on these A.S.A.P!

I've been obsessing over this author since a friend Schuylar had introduced me to him...the man of the hour: Tom Robbins. I highly suggest picking up any of his novels.

With the coming of this bitter Canadian winter, I've become really into layering thermals with oversized plaid shirts, hoodies, and leather jackets. Huge fan of slouch beanies as well. No matter how shitty my hair is looking, putting on one of these saves my life, and my wardrobe.
